Why Dance & Spins Matters -The most important skills in figure skating are learned at the beginning. This "Aspire with a twist" class teaches the first fundamentals every skater must have—proper edges, correct spin positions, balance, and technique—so skills can grow cleanly and efficiently over time. -Ice dance has its own competitive track within U.S. Figure Skating, and is also one of the best ways to develop powerful edges, deep knee bend, and skating confidence. -Kim Ryan’s Spinergy program focuses on base spins that later develop into combinations, higher GOEs, stronger test results, and long-term competitive success. -Emphasis is placed on base steps and first edges, the key to reaching higher levels in skating and preventing bad habits.
