Membership Types & Fees

*Non-Skating Sr. Membership is not available as a Primary family membership if there are other family members. It is only available as a primary membership for an individual, without additional family members.

Family Members as defined by US Figure Skating: “all related persons permanently residing at the same address”

EFSC Membership Definitions

Home Club Members are those individuals who have registered and paid their USFS dues for the current membership year (July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016) through Everett Figure Skating Club. Available membership categories are as follows:

Senior Non-Skating Membersare individuals eighteen (18) years of age or over. This membership is typically used by non-skating parents/guardians of junior members and community members. Senior non-skating members enjoy all privileges of the club with the exception of skating. They also have the privilege to vote as members of the Club and hold office.

Senior Competitive Members are individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older. They enjoy all privileges of the Club, in addition to the privileges authorized in the USFS Constitution. They also have the privilege to vote as members of the Club and hold office.

Senior Recreational Members are individuals eighteen (18) years of age or older. They enjoy all privileges of the Club, in addition to the privileges authorized in the USFS Constitution, with the exception of testing. They also have the privilege to vote as members of the Club and hold office.

Junior Competitive Members are individuals under eighteen (18) years of age. They enjoy all privileges of the Club, with the exception of voting or holding office. All junior members are required to have an adult family member join EFSC.

Professional Members is a designated classification for skating coaches. Please make sure to include your PSA number and expiration date in the space provided on page one of the membership application.

Collegiate Members are current or former home club members who wish to remain active members of USFS and home club members of EFSC. This significantly discounted membership covers a consecutive FOUR-YEAR term and may be purchased at any time during a member’s college career. The Collegiate membership may only be purchased once and is non-renewable. This membership is an excellent opportunity for skaters to remain connected to EFSC and retain all of their club and USFS benefits—a wonderful high school graduation gift!

Introductory Members are those individuals and Basic Skills members who have never been a full member of U.S. Figure Skating, who desire to transition to an Everett Figure Skating Club full membership. It is offered at a discounted rate, carries the same privileges as a full membership, including a subscription to SKATING magazine and all testing and competition rights. All skaters less than eighteen (18) years of age are required to have an adult family member join EFSC.


Basic Skills Members
are skaters in levels Basic 1-8 and Freeskate 1-6 who are taking private lessons. This is a limited membership; members enjoy all privileges of a home club membership, with the exception of testing, voting privileges or the right to hold office. EFSC Basic Skills members will receive the USFS magazine Basic Skills Edition of SKATING. Minors do not need a parent/guardian to join.

Associate Members: Associate membership is available to persons who have designated another USFS club as their home Club, but who wish to participate in the activities and support the interests of EFSC. Associate members shall have all privileges of the Club, with the exception of voting or holding office. Associate members will receive their USFS card through their home club. An associate member under the age of 18 does not need a parent/guardian to join, as that parent or guardian is a member of USFS through their home club.

Transfer Members are current USFS members who wish to change their home club to EFSC during the membership year. Transfer members may participate in club activities and test sessions at member rates, but are not eligible to vote, hold office or receive grants from EFSC during the transfer year. The transfer fee is $30.00 per member. If you are a competitor in a qualifying competition, you cannot submit this request until your competitive season is completed.
